BIO-Europe 2025


Date: November 3–5, 2025


Location: VIECON – Vienna Congress Center, Messeplatz 1, 1020 Vienna (In-Person)


Organizer: LISAvienna – a life science cluster partnership of Vienna Business Agency and AWS, hosting Europe’s leading biotech conference.


Details: BIO-Europe is Europe’s largest biotech partnering event, drawing around 6,000 decision-makers from business, research, and finance to Vienna in early November. The focus is on new approaches to drug development, fostering collaborations, and exploring investment opportunities in the life sciences sector. Over 100 Austrian companies and research institutions (under the Life Science Austria – LISA brand) will be represented, many from Vienna. This three-day conference offers high-impact networking through one-on-one meetings scheduled via conference software, plus presentations from innovative biotech startups and corporates. Verified Social Enterprise (VSE) Workshop

Organizer: Impact Hub Vienna – a community space and incubator for social entrepreneurs


Details: Learn how the Verified Social Enterprise (VSE) label can strengthen your venture’s credibility, attract partners, and drive systemic change. This practical workshop will walk you through the application process for the VSE label and explain its benefits for social impact-driven businesses. If you’re building a social enterprise and want to boost trust with stakeholders, this session (led by Impact Hub’s team) will provide guidance and insights in an interactive format. invest.austria Conference 2025

Self-Employed Meetup: Optimise Your Taxes & SVS Before Year-End

Organizer: Self-Employed in Austria – a community platform for international freelancers and entrepreneurs in Austria


Details: As the year’s end (and tax season) approaches, join this special meetup to learn practical strategies for optimizing your taxes and social insurance (SVS) before December 31. Tax advisor Pascal Schraml will share expert tips on deductions, timing, and smart moves to reduce your 2025 tax burden. After the short presentation, stick around for an informal networking session – a great chance to exchange ideas, ask follow-up questions, and connect with fellow self-employed professionals in a relaxed atmosphere.

Note: The event is ticketed (€9.90 for guests), with free entry for Self-Employed in Austria members. Space is limited to 20 participants, and sign-up is open until Nov 1.





Impact Deal Room – Investor–Startup Matchmaking


Date: November 6, 2025 (09:00–13:00 CET)


Location: Online (virtual event by Impact Hub Vienna)


Organizer: Impact Hub Vienna – in collaboration with partners (curated by Impact Hub team)


Details: Tired of cold emails and missed connections? The Impact Deal Room is an exclusive online matchmaking session that pairs investors with impact startups in a rapid series of one-on-one meetings. Participation is curated and by application – each selected investor and startup will be matched for up to eight 30-minute meetings, tailored to their interests. This half-day event is compact yet efficient, designed to spark genuine connections and investment opportunities in just one morning. Whether you’re an investor seeking your next mission-driven venture or a startup founder ready to raise capital, this format promises high-quality networking without the noise.

Regenerative Women’s Business BoostCamp (4-Day Retreat)


Date: November 10–14, 2025

European Young Innovators Festival 2025

Organizer: WSA (World Summit Awards) – a UN-based initiative celebrating digital innovation, in cooperation with local partners in Styria


Details: The European Young Innovators Festival (EYIF) returns to Graz for three days of inspiration and collaboration. This festival gathers the purpose-driven WSA community – young social tech entrepreneurs, startup founders, and digital creatives from across Europe – to connect, create, and collaborate on solutions with positive impact. Expect interactive workshops, talks, and hands-on sessions exploring themes like impact entrepreneurship, women in tech, and European cooperation. A highlight is the pitch event where 15 Young Innovators (winners of the European Young Innovators Awards) will showcase their award-winning digital solutions, demonstrating how technology can drive social change. You’ll also hear from global experts and successful female founders sharing their hard-earned insights to empower others. From networking events (like “Connect4Impact” mixers) to skill-building breakouts, the festival is a celebration of innovation and youth-driven impact. Future Forward 2025 – Navigate to the Unknown

Details: Future Forward is an innovation conference where visionaries from startups, corporates, and the tech world come together to prepare for an unpredictable future.
